In 2019 we had a fantastic one week vacation in Cuba. We flew into and stayed in the southern province of Holguin. Our resort was fantastic. Day trips were a guided bus tour to the city of Holguin with free time to wander around and explore the city, a trip to a cave and a catamaran trip to a snorkling location followed by a ocean side lunch. Everyone we met were very polite and we were surprised how many Canadians were at our resort.
Everything about the trip was great and we really hope the country of Cuba can weather the unfortunate storm of political wrong doings. The people and culture in Cuba are fantastic and we hope they can recover.
