This post is a BIG one. We did one week in Italy on an amazing family trip and boy were we busy!

Home base was an Air BnB just a short walk from the Coloseum. We scheduled guided tours of the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Vatican and Pompeii. If you every have a chance to visit those locations I highly recommend booking a private (small group of 8-12) tour of these very popular locations. You will skip the massive lines and have a very thorough tour since the guides are professional historians.
