A 2018 anniversary trip took us to Old Quebec City. We drove to Ottawa and took VIA Rail to Quebec City. We stayed at a great loft apartment Air BnB that was a short walk from the old downtown area of Quebec City. Our trip included visiting the Plains of Abraham, cathedrals, a river cruise, the local fort (The Citadelle of Quรฉbec), walking the very well maintained cobblestone streets and a guided night ghost tour. A fantastic place to visit to feel as if you are in an old area of France while having a Canadian influence.
